DESCRIPTION:The International Climate Summit 2021 – Powering India’s Hydrogen Ecosystem\, was held in partnership with Invest India on 3rd September 2021. The event was organised by the Environment Committee of the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI)\, a non-government industrial development organisation in India. \nICS 2021 was aimed at building a dialogue for India’s transition to clean energy. Prime Minister of India\, Shri Narendra Modi\, while announcing the hydrogen policy\, categorically stated that India envisages to become a global hub for green hydrogen production and exports in times to come. The summit involved discussions on strategies to power India’s upcoming hydrogen ecosystem\, among other agendas. The event provided a platform for worldwide collaboration in establishing sustainable routes for production\, storage\, transportation\, distribution\, and ambitious deployment of hydrogen technologies by 2040\, with the goal to shift towards a cleaner\, greener\, and more sustainable future. \nInternational Climate Summit 2021 brought together Nobel Laureates\, Policy Makers\, Regulators\, Industry Leaders\, Experts & Scientists from across the global clean energy industry\, to reach an agreement on climate change and sustainability issues. The meet aimed to build an India-centric and action-oriented approach for building self-reliance in the hydrogen ecosystem and solutions. \nMukesh D Ambani\, Chairman and MD\, Reliance Industries Limited was a keynote speaker at the summit. He stated “I am delighted to know that an International Climate Summit is being organised with a focus on India’s Hydrogen Ecosystem.
