ICS 2021 was aimed at building a dialogue for India’s transition to clean energy. Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, while announcing the hydrogen policy, categorically stated that India envisages to become a global hub for green hydrogen production and exports in times to come. The summit involved discussions on strategies to power India’s upcoming hydrogen ecosystem, among other agendas. The event provided a platform for worldwide collaboration in establishing sustainable routes for production, storage, transportation, distribution, and ambitious deployment of hydrogen technologies by 2040, with the goal to shift towards a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future.
